As classroom educator/artists, we create many foundational experiences for our
students, including a toolbox of elements and principles. This visual language is essential
for critical thinking processes. It helps them identify and share connections within the
arts, as well as across other disciplines.
Social/Emotional Learning is a natural extension of this creative environment, and from here students can begin to incorporate personal experiences and ideas. They will begin to recognize the value of free expression and develop the confidence to share this process within their communities.
